This year, Garnier teamed up with the new Just Dance 2014 game to create dance proof hairstyles – hot hair styles guaranteed to last through a night of dancing with the right products! They created some amazing hairstyles for the coaches in the game – Party Pixie (using Garnier Fructis Style Wax), Curlicious (using Garnier Fructis Curls Construct Mousse), Sleek N’ Spicy (using Garnier Fructis Flat Iron Perfector), Messy Mix (using Garnier Fructis Survivor Ultimate Gel) and Slick Steel (using Garnier Fructis Structure Gel). You can head to the Garnier Fructis Just Dance 2014 site to learn how to create these hairstyles and to download the song “Safe and Sound by Capital Cities.
A couple of weeks ago I was lucky enough to attend the Just Dance 2014 launch with Garnier – we had a blast! We got to see Capital Cities perform in a super intimate venue. They even had us all performing their own dance while they played, which totally gave me She’s All That flashbacks. They had the game set up so everyone could play, and I have to say it’s definitely a fun time – perfect for getting everyone on their feet!
The very lovely Nina Farrauto (who you will see doing the styling in the Garnier videos) also gave me a hair touch-up – this woman can work wonders! She used a new product that I thought was really exciting – Garnier Fructis style Power Wax Spray for Men (yes, us ladies can use it t00) which helps to give messy texture to your ‘do. I checked out this and another product (Garnier Fructis Style Power Hairspray For Men) which I found really neat – these are the first hair sprays I’ve come across meant for guys which is great. I remember my little brothers going through my hairspray when we were growing up, and I know guys will love them!
I’m going to be giving away a copy of Just Dance 2014 (please note this copy is for Wii U only). Want to work on yoru dance skills? Enter to win via the Rafflecopter form below!
