Best of QVC

If you’re like me, you love finding the newest and best beauty products, which is why QVC is such a great thing to have around.  Online and phone shopping at the push of a button with brands like OPI, Bobbi Brown and Philosophy?  Works for me.  I had a chance to try out a few of their great beauty products and wanted to share them with you.

Laura Gellar

Laura Gellar Baked Marble Eyeshadow in Moonstone/Blue Heaven – I remember my first run in with Laura Gellar – I picked up one of her baked eyeshadows when Sephora came to Canada, and now that I think about it I’m pretty sure it actually was Moonstone.  This baked eyeshadow duo features 2 complimentary colours – one pink/bronze and the other blue/grey.  The colour applies very nicely, with more pigment than I was actually expecting, and a nice amount of shimmer.  The blue side definitely came out looking a little more grey, and would be perfect for creating a really sexy, smoky eye.

Benefit Bad Gal Lash

Benefit Bad Gal Lash – This mascara is one that I’ve wanted to try for years.  I love the big, thick brush which is perfect for extending every single lash.  The formula is great – it glides on easily and I found it to be very volumizing and really thickening, which gave my lashes more of a dramatic look.

P

Melvita Moisturizing Rose Nectar – This moisturizer is really lovely – I found that it would be fantastic for dry skin as it does provide a great level of hydration, without being greasy.  This lotion felt very light once applied, and left my skin feeling smooth.  One thing I should mention – it does have a very light rose scent, so if you aren’t a fan of scented products you may want to try one of their other lines.

Have you ever tried shopping with QVC?
